Congratulations. It is winter officially. The spirit of upcoming celebrations is already in the air and we keep our fingers crossed for a snowy magical Christmas. Meanwhile we prepared for you not 5 but 20 awesome places to visit this December, enjoy.

1) Winter Markets

Finding perfect presents for your nearest and dearest can become a real headache. However, shopping in Prague can turn into a fascinating adventure. All Winter Markets listed below will offer not only a wide range of unusual and unique goods, but also an entertainment programme. Some of them will require an entrance fee, so check the links for more information.

In case of IWAP Christmas Market all collected money will go for charity. The charities for 2015 are Vítej: they provide services and programs for young adults with Autism and their families; and Cesta domů – it is offering hospice services to families with the terminally ill. We all know that Christmas is on the first place the time of love, kindness, giving and sharing. So isn’t it a wonderful opportunity to do something meaningful and support people who need help?

2) Traditional Christmas Fairs

These Christmas Fairs in the open air are opened every year on the traditional spots. Hot whine and fresh baking fill the air with Christmas mood and help you to survive the chilled weather. Have fun with your friends while buying Czech souvenirs, eating grilled sausages and listening to street bands. Unfortunately not all Christmas Fairs work every day, so check the links for the precise schedule.
