Goin’,” the student-led community platform previously only used by prospective students, is now accessible to all AAU students. This change encourages students to connect, join groups, and access important university information and resources all in one place.

The decision to expand the app was made by Clea Boban, director of admissions and student support, and Jeta Sahatqija, vice president for student affairs. So far, the app has proven useful for those engaging with it.

Boban spoke with The Lennon Wall about the success of the app, stating that usage numbers are already increasing, with “more and more students joining every week.”

While “Goin’” is still primarily used by prospective students to make connections before arriving in Prague, current students are encouraged to connect as “everything is in one place,” said Boban.

Contingent on the app’s success, AAU hopes to eventually expand access to staff, who currently have limited or no access to the app. The goal being to connect both students and staff in a more approachable way.
Boban encourages all students to “give it a go” by downloading the app and connecting with their peers.
