How hard is must have been To leave everything behind And start again! That’s what they keep saying But they don’t understand. Though leaving isn’t easy, Staying’s even worse We expect that new is better But that’s just what we’ve rehearsed In our minds. Where we think we’re going Seems better than where we are But how can we know When dreaming from afar? Balloon flying through the blue sky Duck under the clouds Welcome to a brand-new town! So many new faces to meet Who you think want to know you The reality of this Is they only want to show you How it feels to be betrayed. Don’t you wish you would have stayed?
