I guess it’s natural in a way. When you grow up, you realize Dad isn’t Superman and Mom gets cray-cray at times. People aren’t ideal. Things change. You gradually develop your own perspective on life. I definitely look at Hanoi differently than I did when taking these photos two years ago. It’s still my hometown though.

Hanoi has some problems here and there, politically, socially, environmentally. It’s not its fault though. The city itself wouldn’t just develop crimes and pollution and corruption, would it? Maybe we don’t need to fix Hanoi so much, but rather its people, us.
