Are you in a happily ever after relationship or living your single life to the fullest? Want it or not, Valentine’s Day is here and it is the perfect occasion to take a break for an evening from your routine and spend it in the name of love. Fasten your seatbelts, the best events on February 14 are coming.

Food – isn’t this another synonym for “love”? Have a nice diner in one of the many restaurants in Prague that has prepared a special menu for Valentine’s Day. Take an evening walk in the Old Town and stop at the Deer Restaurant – one of the best places with a romantic atmosphere and a delicious menu, special for this day. They offer a four-course menu for 699 czk; and yes, dessert is included. For a more cheerful dinner take a few more steps and you will see the Hard Rock Cafe that is waiting for you with a Strawberry Cointreau Fizz, a special Valentine’s Day menu, and live music. The price is 795 czk per person and it is totally worth it.

If you didn’t have the chance to take a cruise along Vltava, maybe this is the perfect opportunity. Don’t tell me you haven’t dreamed of this since your arrival to Prague. Have dinner with your beloved one or friends on “Maria boat” from 6:30pm to 9pm, with buffet and romantic music, or a ride on “Czech boat” at the same time, with a 3-course meal and live music. The price is 1149 czk and a reservation is required. You can get a 20% discount if you mention the code “Visitor”.

If you are not enthusiastic about the lovers’ day, don’t worry, there is an event for you as well. California Republic Bar is organising an Anti-Valentine Party. They are preparing a welcome drink, a free comedy show and of course, a live DJ. For all the single ladies that want to have fun, Peter’s Apartment is waiting at their party. Nice cocktails, delightful food, good music – everything you might need for this evening.

Did you hear? A new club recently opened in Prague. If you just want to have some drinks and dance with your friends, go to the Viper Lounge Bar, they are having a special party with a welcome drink for every lady.

There are many events in Prague on Valentine’s Day, but don’t forget that you are in one of the most romantic cities. A sunset from the Prague Castle or a walk next to the river will always make your evening lovely. At the end of the day, it is not so important where you spend your Feb. 14, but with whom (this being a reminder that your family and pet love you the most).
