Meet Marco Pascucci

I’ve been dreaming of becoming a real chess player. There are two main associations in Sicily, and when I saw them playing, it drew my passion. Day by day, I improved. And finally, they allowed me to become a player. I played for 7 years in association in Palermo. My parents were my main support. But even though I was getting money for teaching, they said: “No, Marco, you need to study in the university and do the normal path in life”. And I followed them. But I never forgot my dream. It was an aim in my life to discover activities that complement our brain functioning. For me, chess shapes our minds.
