The annual Prague Pride Festival is a major solidarity event for both the Czech and international LGBT communities. Held this year from August 8 through August 14, the festival is divided into over 100 events, the parade on the final day being the most well attended, and covered by international media. The festival is supported by Prague mayor, Adriana Krnáčová, and aims to develop broader support for Lesbian and Gay adoption and marriage rights.
